All Saints’ Day at Skogskyrkogården

Skogskyrkogården is a beautiful cemetery in Stockholm inscribed on UNESCO’s World Heritage List. Yesterday was All Saints’ Day and the people of Stockholm travelled there en masse to light candles for deceased loved ones. I’m far from a religious person but it leaves me with a warm feeling to see so many people taking the time on a Saturday evening to go to a cemetery to remember and manifest that they are missing people who have passed away.
