Åre Bike Festival

Last weekend I took a couple of extra days off from work to visit Åre and try doing some downhill mountain biking. Last time I ended up with a broken wrist, this time I got away with just some minor scratches.

I rode with a small backpack where I kept my GF3 with the 14 f/2.5. A quite big crash resulted in a dent on the grip of the camera body and some scratches on the plastic of the lens (no damage to the glass), but the camera still seems to work fine. I bought it for things like this so I have been counting on that it will receive some scars, it’s not a big deal as long as it still works.

Åre Downhill Open also took place during the weekend, a chance to see how you get down the mountain fast and with style 🙂
